Lindsay Lohan has settled a lawsuit stemming from an early morning car chase in 2007 which ended in her arrest for driving under the influence.
The Mean Girls star was slapped with a lawsuit by Tracie Rice after the actress reportedly engaged her in a wild ride through Malibu, California.
Rice claimed she had been left traumatised and lost a top job as a result of the incident. She sued Lohan for compensation, but the case has been repeatedly delayed due to the troubled star's other legal woes.
However, Lohan can now put the lawsuit behind her after reaching a settlement with Rice on Wednesday. No details about the deal have been released.
The actress began a 120-day sentence on house arrest on Thursday after breaking the terms of her 2007 probation following accusations she stole a pricey necklace from a California jewellery store in January.
